Algiz 8 features a 1,0 GHz ULV M Processor, 40 GB Hard drive and 512 MB to 1 GB RAM. Microsoft’s Windows XP Professional operating system runs all the applications well known to PC users, including Calendar, E-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

To provide reliable communication in the field, Algiz 8 features integrated Bluetooth that connects easily to other peripheral devices. The 802.11a/b/g wireless provides access to local area network, e-mail and the Internet. GPRS, as well as high sensitivity GPS are optional.

For the ultimate user experience Algiz is built compact and lightweight. To supply an ergonomic and secure grip Algiz 8 also features an integrated hand strap and several other carrying options. The 8.4” outdoor SVGA TFT resistive touch screen is sunlight viewable. A hot swappable battery lets you continue working all day without recharging.

Made of shock absorbing materials and rugged from the inside and out Algiz 8 is one of the most durable 8.4” Tablet PC’s on the market. It is perfect for areas such as geodesy, military, emergency services, security, service technicians, logistics and transportation among some.

不过硬件是很三防了,为什么软件也不三防一下呢?

难道在恶劣的环境中我们挺过了风沙,最后看到的是微软著名的“蓝屏”?
